Introduction

Hi, My name is Sonia Silva, Full- time Public Health Student with 2 Children. I have thought about starting a blog for weeks now. I have decided this would be the best way to make an imprint in the world. Recently, I have been feeling that I have no way of expressing myself, so I will do so by pictures, poetry and my deepest thoughts.

Saturday August 19, 2017 I was informed that my life would be changing, and not by my choice. At first I was angry with the situation and was feeling extremely bitter towards the parties involved in the situation. This past Saturday I had the pleasure of going out on my dad's boat. I have not been able to go on considering I am obligated to work every Saturday. I did a lot of thinking on that boat ride and realized that this change is actually an opportunity in disguise. While, I sat there and watched the beautiful blue see pass me by, I was hit with the realization that I have missed to much in my life and that I am ready to move on and begin a new chapter. I have been in hiding long enough. I will show the world, who I am and what I am capable of achieving and that no matter what obstacle is thrown in front of me, I will always persevere.
